Endings

It seems like everything has a beginning and an end. No matter what it
is. Sometimes it's a good thing. Sometimes not. Sometimes it's not a
good thing but it's for the best.

Oh, life us one big pile of goods and bads, beginnings and endings.
It's really too bad it has to be this way. But at least we can hope
for meeting excellent people along the way that you can at least get
along with and bring you love.

I hope for the best.

Thesis WotD

This is a new idea I've had to post cool words I come across while
working through the CELEX database. I might not do this daily, but
then again I sorting through the database often and daily, so its
entirely possible. I gotta have fun with this thing. :-)

Without further ado, today word.

Perspicacious: having a ready insight into and understanding of things.

Enjoy impressing people. :-)

Dreams...

I had the weirdest dream. Well, it was all sorta complex, but the thing I remember vividly before waking up is my brother, who, by the way is 15, and I think one of his friends were with me and my/our dad near some railroad tracks. These young girls in lingerie starting walking by us and were afraid, as they should be when walking in lingerie near railroad tracks and then coming up on a group of guys, regardless of how harmless they appear to look. Anyway, my brother was rude to some of them--typical 15 year old crap like saying mean things to them--so I grabbed him by the arm and told him to get his behavior in line or I'll kick his ass. Then.....the weirdest thing of the dream.....he says to me: "Dude, they just had a chicken exam."

What the hell? So I Googled it and only came up with 38 hits. Doesn't mean a damn thing. Who knows what the hell was going through my brain.

I think I'm hungry. But I need to eat on campus. I'm extremely low on food here. Ugh.

Power outage

Another damn power outage. This time, though, there's no reason for
it. Last time we had one at least there was an ice storm. This time?
Its like 55 outside tonight. So this is uncalled for. But I kind of
like going to bed in candlelight. It makes me feel old-fashioned like
I'm living in the 19th-century. Not too bad. And I always have candles
on hand anyway, so this never phases me. I was about to hit the hay
anyway so this is actually nice.

I'm turning in for this quiet evening. :-)

I need to start eating better. Its not that I'm getting sick, but I think I'll end up sick if I don't watch myself and my eating habits. I've been pretty much been living on frozen vegetable dinners which consists of either cauliflower and cheese, brocolli and cheese, or creAmed spinach meals. They're good, but I think they're meant to be had as side dishes and not as main courses! Well I think my battery is about to run out on my iPhone. Peace.

My toe in the fame business...not really, but pretending is nice. :-)

I discovered today that I was referenced in a Canadian paper today for the term "Canadians" being used as a slur for black people--primarily ones that are inner-city and stiff you on a tip when you are waiting on their table.

This is exciting for me even though it's not a big deal and my name is not even mentioned. But, hey, I was alluded to. :-)

I have to enjoy this for a brief moment.
This is a test blog made from my mobile device.

More to come later (with luck and hope).
